Times of wet riding are upon us. It is getting really hard to get out for a ride without the prospect of rain. Last Sunday I managed it but had to delay until 11am start...
Most other rides for the last two weeks have been on the trainer and that is taking a lot out of me. I did do one virtual trainer ride which was good.
Swimming has been good. With a new T1 one time of 1'25". Very happy with that!
Have also entered Capricorn Half in Aussie for something to aim at for the next month. Hopefully will help getting through July in one piece with some decent training under my belt!
Goals for July are to:
Keep the swimming going,
Try a session at the endless pool,
Get in some good riding and at least 2 steady efforts (4 x 15-20m) on Sat with a run after,
Start the long runs, with an hour this week plus 10mins up to 1h 30m over the next month.
Get into twice a week Pilates coached sessions.
